Run your belts LOOSE!
Overtightening may damage rollers, bearings, and belt splines. Belts SHRINK with age! Back them off as needed.
Remove the conveyor system after every season to clean. Power wash and grease it before storing. Don't leave fertilizer on equipment during the off-season. This is the #1 cause of problems.
BEFORE FOLDING, make sure you can see the belt zipper. The clips will get ruined if they're in the folding area, both inside the tube and outside. Store with zipper visible in the off-season.
Run Premium gas with NO ethanol. Add SeaFoam or other fuel stabilizer before storing. Use a high zinc 20W-50 synthetic blend engine oil.
Check weekly to ensure belts are tracking at all rollers. Very front roller on the Lower Conveyor is the one we see off most often. This is also the belt tensioner. Don't overtighten when adjusting.

There are no dumb questions.
Lower Conveyor: There should be droop or slack between each return roller on the bottom side of the conveyor. If it is strung tight like a guitar string, it's too tight!
Upper Conveyor: If the belt is rubbing on the composite lumber when running, it's too tight! This lumber is strictly a guide for belt tension, and the belt should be throwing up over it without touching.
Please call us at 605-338-0403 for help with any question.
There is a rock stuck in the throttle body, below the air cleaner. Turn engine off. Usually you can use an air hose to blow it out.
Return pressure is higher than 450 PSI. If you have wing style couplers, make sure they're screwed down all the way. Check that the Return filter isn't getting plugged. If this doesn't fix the problem, call before adjusting anything on the hydraulic block.
The upper belt should be between 4 - 5.5 seconds per revolution. We generally don't time the lower belt because of the difference in lengths of trailers. Increase the truck idle speed to increase belt speed.
There is a contaminant in the flow control needle valve on the hydraulic block, located on the upper conveyor. Valve is on the top rear, driver-side of the block (titled Flow Control). Loosen jam nut, and turn the valve out until desired speed is reached. Re-tighten jam nut.
Truck Wet Kit: No power to the center prong on the 7-way plugin. The control panel is powered off the ABS or center prong. Check for a blown truck fuse or low voltage from truck batteries.
The Upper Control Panel has a switch that was left on or got bumped.
